I know using dvrmstoolbox I can convert this and this is mainly just switching containers. I also know you can't use DTS within Media Center through the Extenders. I am just trying to think of what functionality will I lose by doing this.

I think WTV can contain TrueHD (and any other a/v format for that matter), but I'd be really surprised if the extender would extract the core and play it back.
