if I get the RF 62s, and RC 62 from klipsch

should I plug these speakers into my sub, then into the receiver? my sub I have is a Precision Acoustics 10" Powered Subwoofer

or would it be wise to plug the speakers directly into my yamaha HTR6060

whats the purpose of plugging the speakers into the sub vs the reciever directly

I would connect the subwoofer directly to the receiver via the sub pre-out, and the speakers directly to the speaker terminals on the back of the receiver.

ok, currently the speakers I have now are connected to the sub, then into the receiver. I will change the setup like you suggest,

is there a sound quality issues, having the signal come from the Yamaha into the (cheap) powered subwoofer then into the speakers?

is going this root for those that don't have a powerful enough receiver?

From what I know, there shouldn't be any sound quality issues.

It is only advisable to use the speaker inputs on your subwoofer IF your receiver doesn't have a subwoofer pre-out.
