I picked up a couple of Sony 1271's from a local university. Neither of them have RGB cards in them. What are the differences between IFB-10a and IFB-11. Does an IFB-11 have an advantage over the IFB-10a?

Hmm, I don't seem to have any info on IFB-10a other than:

"The IFB-11 card looks exactly like the IFB-10, but also offers selectable termination."


IFB-11 is the one that you probably want.

IFB-12 is also a nice one because it adds component input options without needing a transcoder.

The IFB-10 is half the price of the IFB-11. If they both do the same thing, I guess I am not sure why I would get an IFB-11.

My 1271 has an IFB10a and an IFB12. The IFB10 is as good as the IFB12 if I'm using my HTPC and feeding it RGBVH.

After more investigation I have found Clarence's original find correct. The termination is the only difference. It is interesting that in the used market the IFB11 gets roughly 50 bucks more.
