Since I'm getting a new 40" to 42" flat screen TV,
I'm thinking about getting this TV stand:

I actually had a chance to see one at the IKEA store in West Sacramento, CA and like the fact it uses casters and plentiful open space for TiVo (or small dish satellite receiver) box and Blu-ray player. The other nice thing is that the height of the stand is just the right height for viewing given the seating position in my family room.

Of course, the best part is the price: US$79.95.

Any suggestions for other good TV stands that fit a 40-42" flat screen? Alas, all the really good ones I've seen are ripoffs--they start at US$180 and go as high as US$400. And most of them don't have casters, either.

I wouldn't call a depth of less than 16" plentiful. In fact, it won't even be usable for a majority of components.

Out of curiousity, why such a small TV for your family room? What's your seating distance?
