I'm looking to buy the 46" Samsung Series 6 TV within the next week for about $1900. I used to be into TVs like 6 months ago, but then stopped keeping track from January until now, so I don't know about any other TVs that might be better. Are there any Sony Bravias or Toshiba LCDs that are cheaper and better than this one?

id go for the 52-750 samsung, not that much more.

He's right, the LN46A750 is right in that budget, too, now, if you look "in the rainforest."

Even tho they are just starting to offer discounts on the 2008 Bravia models, they aren't necessarily as heavily discounted as Samsung is, tho.
