Well, I just got my 3030 today and was pleased to receive the 3.0 software upon installing it. To ReplayMike and the folks at ReplayTV...nice job! I really like 3.0 a lot. Things seem a bit snappier as well...but then again maybe the Sony TiVo I just sold was THAT slow. Now if I can just get that dishnetwork-like browse feature... http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif
And as an added bonus I was able to hook up my VCR through the 3030 and play my kid's Disney tapes WITHOUT macrovision problems! Heck, I was even able to record the tape to the hard disk (which I should be able to do legally, BTW) just to prove that it works.
Anyway, I'm sticking around for a while with ReplayTV as I've tried TiVo twice (once with Philips and then Sony) and they just didn't measure up. Then I made the Showstopper mistake...but now life is bliss. Thanks again.
