Ok, Im a little behind here.. Whats SDI? What kinda of hookups does it use? I could be understanding this wrong but what I think it is, is you are using a DVi output or adding one to a DVD player then inputting that to a projector or something? So it stays all digital? Im so lost lol.. It soudns good and those screen shots look amazing.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Basically SDI is a direct digital feed off a DVD that gets fed into a scaler with SDI input. The main advantage is that you are keeping the signal digital until it leaves the scaler, thus reducing any DA conversion artifacts. It uses a BNC to BNC cable. There are several DVD players that can now be modified and a few scalers that can accept them, such as the Vigatec.

Thanks!
