I'm trying to make sure I understand this all correctly before I buy any blank DVDs; please correct any incorrect assumptions I have:
1) The ImageMixer software that comes with the Canon cams only writes to DVD+R (including dual layer); not DVD-R.
2) Vegas will write to DVD-R and DVD+R; including dual layers of both. (Will Vegas let you do menus, titles, chapters, etc. when you burn DVDs - HD and SD?)
3) PS3 will play DVD-R AND DVD+R dual layer discs.
It seems to be much harder to find dual layer DVD-R (versus dual layer DVD+R) discs and they cost more too. I'm thinking about getting Vegas so I can buy DVD+R dual layer discs.)
