It was a stormy night, I woke up in the early morning could not sleep, so went to the HT and turned on my projector. Comcast InHD2 was showing Beavers and I must say it was one of the most mesmerizing HD nature shows I have seen.

I have seen a few IMAX movies on InHD, while all very good, most had the characteristics of film conversion. This one however looked like shot on 1080i video. The nature and underwater images were so real and relaxing that it actually put me back to sleep while the rain continued ponding away on the roof.

It WAS shot on 1080i video...after it was shot on 15 perf/70 IMAX film.

Also seen it, what a great presentation! how did they film it? I mean with all those super close ups and inside the stick beaver made home? (Or was it all fake?-looked super real if it was fake)

Saw this the other day and loved it. I especially like the surround sound in the underwater sequences, I felt like I needed to come up for air.

They were showing beaver? Did they do a deep inside story on the beaver and how it munches it way through life? Those beavers are fury little creatures. I just love them. Some are big and some are small. The big ones tend to be pretty fat and they get stuffed alot. Was the name of the show "Stuffing Beavers"?
