Immersive H3D I vs H3D II

303 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  elias
Hi all... I know this must have been covered a 100 times before, but I can not seem to locate any info on this.

I currently have an H3D I that I am happy with, and am considering upgrading to an H3D II. I really don't need the AUX card so that is not a concern.

My question is... Will an H3D II card outperform PQ wise a perfectly calibrated H3D I card? If so, by how much and how? (Color, deinterlacing, etc...)

Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't bother, the H3DII drivers and app never got completed, the only thing available is buggy beta software.
I've owned both and a 100% rock stable htpc can be built with the existing software. Problems can arise when the hd-aux card is added to the H3D II but there are people using the hd-aux with success.

Personally, I prefer the additional menu options that the H3D II add, but I sure wouldn't shy away from a H3D I card if the price was right. Alot of people didn't upgrade as they were more then satisified with the original card. I was on the fence myself but ended up going for it.

Do you mean they received the II and returned it for the I?

I do know one positive of the I over the II is the I works with Dscaler, if you wanted to go that route.

My big thing is PQ.
