I still don't have enough bugdet for BD maybe by the end of this year.
For now, I'll do disc. So guys, I'm sure that that there is an online store under the sun that sells an HDDVD version of this movie.

Make sure you have an anamorphic version of Die Hard on standard def dvd - and play it upconverted in your hd-dvd player via your hdmi connection - and enjoy the movie - and the small fortune you saved by not paying any ransom money to Sony.

Probably won't be an import unless Finland or Russia make a HD version.
PS it not impossible, 15:10 lähtö Yumaan (3:10 to Yuma) was/is supposed to come to HD this year from Finland. Hadn't heard any more about it since December. Mr & Mrs Smith was available on HD from Poland and they weren't listed as distributor in IMDb

So you are saying that the PQ of 480i standard-def is just as good as high-def? Well if thats the case then why do you even support HD DVD?

Thats funny because thats the version that was originally filmed. It was the PG-13 version that was "thrown together" at the last minute to make more money.

3:10 to Yuma HD version has disappeared from the future releases list as have all the other HD DVD releases by that distributor (FS-Film). Unfortunately.
