Please read the question carefully.

I am thinking of adding the existing sub to the fronts using high level inputs.

(Why you ask? - Just because this will be the cheapest change I could do in my set up to support 2 ch music. I am not happy with stereo processing of 4306 and very very very happy with OPPO analog outs.)

The manual is vague. It says that if Sub is set to NO then fronts are set to LARGE but it does not say what happens to LFE in that case....

Almost always (and most likely in your Denon) the LFE is dropped. It does not get redirected to the fronts.

Mind you, that is for content WITH LFE. Stereo, or 2.0, has no LFE.

After posting the thread, I did remove the sub from 4306. Ran the Audessey EQ and VOILA....It works.

On the AVIA testing disk, I got the sub output on the front mains!!!!!!

Now I have to add my Velo SPL to the fronts using high level signal .....
