Building a new home with a nice sized kitchen that has a raised (sloped ceiling and open floor plan) dining room at one end, pantry at the other both with standard ceilings-resulting in open attic space at each end of kitchen above 9'.
Looking to install speakers for just playing music while cooking and entertaining but has to have some decent bass and sounds good when turned up. I'm having trouble deciding whether an 2-8" ceiling speakers directly overhead would be a better choice than an in-wall at each that wouldn't be facing the listeners.
I realize the importance of positioning in a home theatre setup but not sure if it would matter so much for simple stereo. I know some of the in walls allow you to aim the tweeter. I'm really hoping for a rich deep sound as I'm sick of the Bluetooth cubes and bedside stereos I've had for so long. Thanks for any help.
