Joey, I was simply spending too much time looking at speakers, and Im pretty set on the idea of large tri amped actives. I have heard good things about QSC, and have seen them in a few facilities. If I had been set on "cinema" speakers, I would probably have gone for QSC. Unfortunately, from the price point of view, Im looking at Quested and Genelec.
I also listened to a ton of "hi-fi" speakers for a, smaller screened, media room. I never found any that gave me what I had experienced with the best studio monitors. At that point I decided that I would also go down the active bi/tri amped monitor route for that room too, just smaller versions.
Im really keen to get a proper look at the new Genelec 8260A, which is a tri amped unit with their new coaxial driver contained in the waveguide. Some people have said its the best imaging they have ever heard from any speaker.

J, I dont. Its not something I have the time, or inclination, to do.
