Folks, I currently have a 2.1 system hooked up to my receiver and TV. I'm buying a larger place and my wife is allowing me use the bonus room as a media/home theater room.

Currently:
Ascend Sierra 2 L/R
SVS SB-2000
Yamaha Aventage 1050

If you saw my previous thread, I will be getting a 75 inch tv. And my thought at this point is to keep the Sierra 2 speakers, and either add a 3rd for the center or a Chane a2.4 as the center. I am selling the SB2000 and will get either dual PB 1000s or PB2000s.

I think for surrounds I want to do in wall/ceiling speakers for 5.2 atmos. Does anyone have experience or thoughts on any of the following, or other suggestions:

HSU HIW-1 Horn In-Wall Speaker
RSL W26 In wall, C34E ceiling
HTD HDX line wall/ceiling
JBL SP8 in wall/ceiling

The HSU doesn't seem to have a ceiling version.

Also, does anyone know what I should be expecting to pay for installation of 2 ceiling and 2 wall speakers including in wall wiring?

Best regards.

Oh, adding a 3rd of the same is nice! Do that. As for in-wall or ceiling, what is behind the walls? What is above the ceiling? If living space, you must get back box designs because sound WILL bleed.

Hey thank you for the input.

This room is on the second floor, so no living area above. One side wall will be an office so that could potentially be a small issue for sound bleed. Do you have a recommendation for enclosed in wall?

Thank you!
