All,

I haven't found much at all no a search for this.

How do you keep dust from hampering your units? Do you foam layer between compontents? I am drawing a complete blank here as to how to best protect my investments while they are mounted in an in-wall unit!

Also, how often do you remove each unit for dusting, etc?

Any/all help will be greatly appreciated.

You want to make sure all of the vent areas are free and clear so that air can circulate. I've been thinking about buying one of those long needle nose cleaning attachments for my shop vac. The kind intended for cleaning under refrgerators, dryers etc. I have access from the rear and could reach all the areas with minimal effort.

That looks like a great cleaning option! I will have to plan on keeping 3/4 inch between all equipment if I am to use that.

I was hoping someone would pop up and say "I use XXYYZZ filter, designed for this IT type rack to keep the dust from the guts of my equipment.

Oh well, I guess that this means I will still have to quarterly clean between/in each unit.
