The wife has put her foot down.... I can't turn our living room into home theater central, so I have to look at making the rear speakers in wall (unfortunately).

Originally I was planning on using the Dayton B652 for the rears in my 5.1 system, but they are too big to mount on the wall (the room is very open and is pretty much the pass through to the rest of the house, so wall protruding speakers aren't possible.

I will be driving the 5.1 with a yamaha RX-V675. Looking at using them for movies, some slight gaming, and some musical enjoyment.

A few in wall options that I have been considering are:

Home Theater Direct:

MP-W50 - 5.25" Two Way- $60 http://www.htd.com/Products/multi-purpose/MP-W50-in-wall-speakers

MP-W65 - 6.5" Two Way - $80 http://www.htd.com/Products/multi-purpose/MP-W65-in-wall-speakers

HD-W65 - 6.5" Two Way - $129 http://www.htd.com/Products/high-definition/HD-W65-in-wall-speakers

Or
Dayton Audio

CS620W - 6.5" Two Way - $70 http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.php/audio-video/in-wall-ceiling-speakers-by-type/in-wall-speakers/cs620w-6-1-2-2-way-in-wall-speaker-pair.html

ME625W - 6.5" Two Way - $99 http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.php/audio-video/in-wall-ceiling-speakers-by-type/in-wall-speakers/me625w-6-1-2-2-way-in-wall-speaker-pair.html

Or

Monoprice

4101 - 8" 3 way - $60 http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=108&cp_id=10837&cs_id=1083703&p_id=4101&seq=1&format=2

7607 - 6.5" 3 Way - $74 http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=108&cp_id=10837&cs_id=1083702&p_id=7607&seq=1&format=2

My questions.... has anybody installed these for rears in a 5.1? Any luck? How do they compare to the Dayton B652?

Thanks for the help!

I am adding other speaker suggestions from people who reply... maybe in the future people wont have to ask the same question on the forum but simply find this little resource. (God knows I searched the forums a bunch)

I would rather use Speakercraft Accufits in your price range - they are the least expensive in wall that have a fully enclosed integrated backbox (the backbox is even made of metal) - they are an excellent value

All of you choices are high value for the money.

The integrated enclosure looks pretty sweet. Are these guys the only ones who make a wall speaker in an enclosure, or are they just the only lower priced one?

Still too expensive for me (Ideally I would stay under $100).

Axiom Audio has comparable inwalls to the Accufit with sealed enclosures.
