Hi All -

Perhaps one of you who are a little more educated on these things can help a non-audiophile newbie out.

I am installing a pair of in-wall speakers that I will use as my "B" speakers in another part of my basement from my HT room. I am interested in installing an in-wall volume control so that you can adjust volume from the room where the speakers are located. I just want a simple dial one, nothing fancy or expensive. I have in mind something like this .

I will not be listening at very loud levels. Just want to have some nice music in the room while shooting pool or playing poker.

Any thoughts on what features are important for these controllers? I see features advertised like "12-step attenuation", power handling ratings, and impedance matching.

My receiver is a Yamaha that outputs 100-watts per channel.

Thanks for any help you can give.
