In your opinion what connection works best for what source?

With Comcast digital cable on my Sammy 567W, component gives me the best picture for digital and HD stations (Comcast does not yet support DVI). For analog stations, however, the coaxial connection is significantly better than component.

I have a DLP, but think there are way too many variables involved to reach an accurate consensus. For instance, this totally discounts the differences in various STBs among manufacturers, DVD type/setup, cabling quality, etc. What works best for one partuclar setup may not work for another.
