I've an IN72 which stopped projecting any image (illuminated screen, but no logo etc.) Checked the bulb and has a crack in the front. Ordered a new bulb and now it does exactly the same (no image, a little flickering) but now shuts down after a minute or so with 3 red led flashes - new bulb or return for service. Could the problem simply be that the new bulb is a DOA, or might there be something else wrong that I'm missing? I've had a search, but this doesn't seem to fit any of the issues that I've found. Any help greatly appreciated.

Is the fan kicking on ?

yep - the fan fires up and the lamp comes on, though both of them flicker. Doesn't seem very bright - visible, though not bold, on a white wall in a room with the shutters closed from about 8 feet.
