Indoor antenna issues

I installed a indoor antenna for my 50 inch sony. now i noticed after installing it that when i switch channels when watching cable that the screen flickers quite a few times. It does this now every time i change the channel and only started after I hooked up the antenna. It's quite annoying. Anyone else have this happen? Is it normal and just something I have to get used to if I want the free feed?

Is it something that happens when you switch between SD and HD channels? It could be the TV resynching when switching resolutions.

As mjones73 mentioned, it could be the TV resynching when switching channels. If you have a receiver, or cable box, some switch more easily than others when changing from or to over the air with regular programming.
