My old Harman Kardon AVR65 just quit on me, so I need a replacement. I am thinking of moving up to a 7.1 receiver. I don't care about video switching at this time as my new Samsung DLP (thanks AVS Powerbuy) has plenty of inputs.

This is for a 15 x 25 foot room, using quality speakers (I can't recall the brand, but they are good and worked well with the AVR 65).

My goal is good surround sound (DTS, Dolby digital, pro logic etc.) and audio switching on a budget already dented by my TV purchase. Sources include a couple of Hi-Def DirecTV receivers, a PC, and a super high end upscaling DVD player. I may add a digital media server. I also want to be able to use my Pronto Remote to switch inputs discretely. I do need at least 4 digital inputs.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

-Sean

I just bought a HK AVR 330. I figure if I get a better suggestion from the group, I will return it, but I think it might just do the trick...
