I meant to post this a while back. The lowe's near us has Velvet curtains they are discontinuing. Colors available were...deep blue, purple, crimson, green. Panels (40"x81") were $7.99 and valances were $4.99. Figuring that velvet is $15+ a yard this a deal if anyone is looking for velvet. I will say they are not 100% light blocking and we needed blackout cloth sewn to the back for complete blocking of light. We also used 4 panels (120") of curtain panels to block a 60" window. I would guess all Lowe's would be discontinuing them.

We stopped at each lowes from Gloucester Mass to Old Bridge NJ

on the way home and they did not have the Crimson we wanted.


One store had the valance, which I purchased just in case I found

the others. I'll keep hunting.
