Inexpensive VP that puts out 540P?

348 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  noah katz
I have a 5-yr-old (1-st genereation HD-ready) Toshiba RPTV. It has only one convergence memory, and the convergence between 480i input and the digital TV (1080i) is way off.

I believe the 1080i input will accept 540P as well, so if I could convert 480i to 540P I could use the 1080i input for everything and see one HD image instead of three :)

I just want something to tide me over til I finally get a pj in a year or so. Is there anything I could get used for a couple hundred$ or so that will do this?

It doesn't have to be that great, as what I'm watching now is the internal deinterlacing of the RPTV.

Thanks

Thanks, but it only does 480P.
CS-1 are being discounted now. You can also pick up a new Vision DVI at a very attractive price.
Thanks Ofer, I'll check them out.

Re the Vision DVI, I don't need DVI yest, is there a previous model that does 540P w/o DVI ?

Thanks
