I have a 5-yr-old (1-st genereation HD-ready) Toshiba RPTV. It has only one convergence memory, and the convergence between 480i input and the digital TV (1080i) is way off.
I believe the 1080i input will accept 540P as well, so if I could convert 480i to 540P I could use the 1080i input for everything and see one HD image instead of three
I just want something to tide me over til I finally get a pj in a year or so. Is there anything I could get used for a couple hundred$ or so that will do this?
It doesn't have to be that great, as what I'm watching now is the internal deinterlacing of the RPTV.
Thanks
