Infinite video loop problem

151 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Namlemez
I'm having a problem with Dscaler/Radeon 7500 AIW and the analog video. Basically I am trying to use my HTPC to deinterlace and filter analog video from a VCR. The resulting video is great, but the problem is that the video plays for about 2-3 seconds and then loops continuously. I've changed about every setting I can think of on Dscaler, and whenever rechoose the input source, the output matches the vcr for 2-3 seconds and then starts looping again. Is this a problem with Dscaler and the radeon since in the documentation it states that Dscaler is not compatible with the radeon (which is throughly confusing since I do get decent video for a couple seconds anyway, and the number of posts from people using radeon and dscaler together).

I've tried every combination of filters and deinterlacing methods I could and I get the same problem.

Any help or suggestions or pointers to web resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I think only recently did dScaler support anything but the BT/Conexant based cards. You won't find much experience outside of these since thats what most people tend to stick to...
