my 2003 infiniti m45 has a 5" LCD screen that displays vehicle info such as temperature, tire pressures, maintenance reminders, etc. i was hoping to use this screen for other purposes such as rear-view camera and navigation... i see 2 options: (1) a video switcher box that has a video adapter that can display its output on the OEM screen; (2) replace the screen with an aftermarket display, but will need some kind of adapter so it can still display the vehicle info screens.

which of these options are actually available? i believe PAC Audio has something but i cannot find more information about it...

I'm at work now, so I can't check. However I know there is a topic discussion on this at ClubArmada"dot"com, which links to a couple of solutions for the Nissan/Infinite line of cars and trucks for the setup you are seeking. Also PAC is an available option for the M series, yet there are others.
