Hello. New here and look forward to learning a great deal, but I have a current challenge. My beloved infinity overtire ii's blew one of the internal amps. I've given up hoping for repair/replacement of the amp. What I would like to do is use the drivers to create a new set of speakers. Problem is, I have no idea what volume of space would be required within the enclosure nor do I have a clue as to covers and ports. Any suggestions? I m not married to the same footprint, dimensions or appearance of the old cabinets.

With out the t/s parameters of the drivers, you won't be able to do another different build using those drivers. I would keep what you have, remove the blown amp, solder the drivers to the binding post on the amps, then buy a good USC amp and connect everything up and you should be good to go!

Thank you. The term "USC" as applied to an amp is new to me. Can you tell me please what this refers to? Also, there must be some reasonable means of obtaining specs for the drivers - any thoughts there (I've done all I know to do).
