Hi all


Got my Infocus 425 last week and have started to arrange my living room to get a good solution.


I have several friends that recommends the iScan "line doubler" to use with projectors. But is the Infocus 425 compatible with the iScan and if so how should I connect them to obtain the best result?


The 425 has s-video, composite and VGA input with the help of the cablewizard.

I believe the iScan is compatible with the 425. You would connect the iScan using the VGA input (DB15 connector).

It depends on the Iscan. The new Iscan pro supports component input to the line doubler; the older models only support s-video.

it is the new modell with the component input that I will use if it works perfectly and the projector can process these signals correct.

I am told by Infocus that the 425 does not support the IScan (any version).


Check with Infocus tech support on this point. The senior tech is named Bob Moore.


You might consider just using S-Video input into the 425, it has pretty good de-interlacing and scaling.


I am using the 400, which is a slightly newer model of the 425.

But should I use the s-video output from my DVD or the component? I use a Sony 7700 by the way.
