Thank you

I owned the Mits 3000 for 3 years and my friend had the IN76. This is hardly an in-depth or scientific analysis, but my general observations between the two. Firstly , I loved the Mits, it had hardly any faults at all. It was very quiet, and once calibrated, put out a great image and really was a fine projector. The IN76 was pretty much its equal, except for a few differences. Looking back the IN76 handled HD sources better, ie Directv, whereas I think the Mits was slightly better on dvd sources. The 3K was slightly quieter and easier to mount and install in terms of flexibility.Thats about it I think.

Hope this helped.
thank you for your commet
The IN76 does not to be be calibrated out of the box and gives a great picture, but the 3k needs tender loving care, aka tweaking.

Cosmetically I love the IN76/IN72 (which I used to have one) design w/ its piano black.

I see RBE in both w/ 4x wheel. They both use DC2 from TI. It's a toss up IMHO.
Further, 3000 has a bit more light spill than the 76. Not sure if it's the particular model that I've, vs. my friend's In76. However, he paid about 2x more than I did.

Wow! 2K is what I payed for my IN76 from AVS. I must've gotten a better deal than I realized.

The Mits is likely to be a little more reliable than the IN76. The In7x platform is prone to power supply/fuse failure. The Mits has seemed to be pretty solid over the years.
