Hello everybody,

I decided to go for the DLP projectors. Now I searched the site but can not find any comparison test for these projectors. Since my dealer might have an interesting bargain for me I was wondering which one is better and which has the better built-in scaler?

thanx.

Kjelt,

I did a shootout involving these two projectors a month and a half ago. Do a search on this forum under either of them and you will find lots of information.

As to which has the better internal scaling - without a doubt the LP350 does! I have now seen twelve different digital projectors and the LP350 has in my opinion the best onboard processing of any of them. This of course is only part of the overall picture (excuse the pun). Depending on budget you may add - external scaler, progressive scan DVD player, or HTPC. This would obviate the need for good onboard processing for DVD playback.

Check out "crawlies" on both machines before you buy. I find this to be the biggest drawback of presentation XGA digital projectors.

Cheers,

Grant Smyth
