My Infocus LP735 has a green spot in the center.

I disassembled the projector, removing 3 circuit boards, but didn't want to go further. I've heard aligning the mirrors in the light channel can be a bear.

I passed a light thru the channel with the power off and the panels all seem to pass the light clearly, particularly the blue, which seems to be what's missing in my green spot. I don't know of a way to run the projector without a bulb in it. If I did, I'm sure I'd see any flaws in the lcd panels a little better, particularly if power on is required...

Is the dirty spot in that box the cause of my green area? It approximates the screen location.

The picture was taken from the front of the projector with the lens off, of course. The light from the lcd panels converges in this box and goes out through the lens. That spot in the front lower quarter panel looks like a mirror gone bad. Being that I am looking at a box of mirrors, though, I'm not even certain that it isn't a reflection from another side of the box
