Hello -


I've had my InFocus SP4805 for only a 6 months. The other night I was watching a movie and all of a sudden the picture went dark and I looked up at the projector and the LED was flashing RED.


I turned off the unit and waited a while. I fired it back up and the LED blinks green for a bit and then goes to RED solid. With the lamp never getting ignited.


Did my lamp burn out? I have VERY little hours on the unit. I will say that I only ever soft power down.. I rarely ever reached up to teh unit to hard power it down...



If I have to buy a new lamp, where is the best place to get them. The lamps seem to be about $350. Am I better off just getting a new projector?

Get a new projector....Mitsubishi HD1000U can be had for under $900 I hear and that is an upgrade in resolution over the 4805....
