I have lots of components in a switch box right now and want to go vga for better resolution specially on my xbox. I keep reading about the component to vga and that wont help me considering I have multiple components I need to plug in. Some being s-video some being Component. So my question is will a actual Component VGA box similar to the ones sold on ebay work on the projector?

thanks in advance.

I use a 4-way manual VGA (HD15) switch with cables like those found here:

Works great. The switch should cost around 20 bucks, and each 6ft cable should cost around 15 bucks (which saves you $5 over the component to vesa adapters sold by infocus, not to mention the cost of the component video cable). This will allow you to switch up to 4 progressive sources. This won't work at all with interlaced sources.
