INHD Tune up on Toshiba 52HMX84
Anybody tried using the INHD Tune up to calibrate their Tosh 52HMX84?
I know this is not a good way of calibrating the TV but I just tired it before using other programes.
Here is my question: On the contrast adjustment screen, there are 11 circles. No matter how hard I try, I am not able to get the last 2 circle to appear separate.
Anyone else seeing this?

No problem with the circles here, though we are using different technology sets, CRT here and DLP for you, but both Toshibas. Which circles having a problem with, the inner 2 or outer 2 ?

I'll have to remember to record that on my DVR 
Yep, I keep that one as well as the HDNet test patterns on my DVR. HDNet runs theirs on Tuesdays at 8:00 am ET.

did not know about these test patterns. thanks. do they provide instructions on how to use the patterns, or are they just still patterns that show up on the screen?
They are still patterns with instructional audio commentary.

i noticed the same thing on my 46hm84. the only way i could get the outer 2 circles to differentiate was to jack up the brightness and contrast and picture mode etc. to the brightest setting.
