Installing the marquee 8500

233 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  aurelio
I'm setting up my marquee 8500.

I've positioned the pj in front and in the middle of the screen and centered rasters on tube's face but the crosshatch is not simmetrical: it's projected on the right side of the screen.

What i must do: move the pj side to side or pivot the pj and mantain it in the middle?

Another question: with h-size at 90, the raster seems to be dangerously near to the tube's edge; it's safe?

Sir

Use a string or twine measured with a knot exactly in the middle and long enough to be taped to either side of the screen so the knot reaches the green lens; this measures the center effectively. Then pivot the entire machine to center the image on the screen. There is no harm in using the phosphor close to the edge. Good luck with your setup, and remember that your 8500 has on-screen setup assistance available in the Help menu.
Thank you, Tim: i'll do what you said.

Yes, the help menu is wonderfull, really idiotproof.
