The thing that I dont beleive about this article is how he is saying in his conclusion that if you buy something before the fall of 2002 then your HD wont work... This new protection I personally think wont be mandatory for a couple of years... Something will happen that will let you continue to use your old equipment.. Till Its in stone and you must have a DVi or IEEE 1394 connection then Im not going to worry about it..

Actually it looks like it's is stone....but at least we do have a little time before they can implement it. I say class action lawsuit.
