Interesting Replay Observation: Resume from Pause Drift

295 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  BaysideBas
Here's an interesting observation I've made.

I've noticed that if I pause a show and go back to it a few days later, the scene will start out at a different point when I resume, typically earlier than the original point. It's not a big deal, I've left shows on for weeks and noticed they only drifted by 10-15 seconds. Yes, I have a really good memory for this type of thing. Ask me to remember people's names and I can't tell ya, but I've very good with pictures.

However, I found if you pause a show the second you start, it will actually drift to the end of the show if you wait too long (perhaps a few days). I'm sure there's a good explaination for why the show would resume at the end. The thing I'm wondering is if anyone else has noticed this and has a good explaination of why resuming from a pause spot would drift over time.
