I've got a Sony KV36-HS510 that is experiencing some major color distortion. I tried getting a replacement TV ... same problem. I sent it out to a Sony authorized service center and it's got the same problem ... so I've basically determined that it's the apartment I live in ... and the TV is fine.

Basically I get green discoloration around the edges of the tube.

How can I shield my TV so that this doesn't happen?

I don't know where it's coming from (pipes in the walls possibly?, neighbors playing with plutonium, who knows).

My entertainment center is pretty typical ... TV in the middle ... next to it is a receiver, a TiVo, a CD rack player, and a cable-box. Under the TV is an XBOX. Speakers are pretty far away ... about 4 feet each at least...

Any suggestions how to shield my TV from whatever's screwing up the image? I found this site linked from another thread, but it's greek to me. (no pun intended)

Thanks,
