They certainly seem to have been having a laugh when it came to their WINDVD splash screen. I mean, Look at it... It has to go. I was a little shocked at the Controller, but I can live with that. Time to change the splash though.......

Seems to be fine under XP, but MEis a no no on my system. I have no idea as to why it will not work. Takes ages to load, and then stutters. Also will not see M-Audio 24/96 under ME, yet does under XP (same system, partitioned HD)

I just cant be arsed to waste a whole Sunday trying to solve it...

As for the girl....well, it looks like a cheesy DVD program, as oppossed to WINDVD. At least they have made it easier to get rid of.

Things I do like?

Capture browser

auto resume

Picture and sound quality.

Things I hate?

The Player graphic.

Lack of 24/96 sound card detection

Slow load time on all systems!!!!

Oh, and the fact that intervideo charged me full price for the upgrade. I have sent e mail! Be warned!!!!!

if you don't like the splash, why not just use reshacker to put a new one in?

correction: it's even easier than that...

X:\\InterVideo\\WinDVD4\\Skins\\WinDVD 4\\Video Window\\splash.bmp

it's just a bitmap...
