I have 4 CFL's in my ceiling controlled by 1 light switch.


i would like to be able to turn them on and off via my Harmony 880 remote.


is there a simple solution?


i keep seeing dimmers but i know that unless the CFLs say they are dimmer capable you should not use a dimmer on them.


i dont have dimmer style CFL's

Lutron Spacer products are simple inexpensive IR controlled dimmers & switches.


They have a switch designed for use with flourescent lights that has an IR receiver built right into it:

Wow, that's expensive. Is there any cheaper option for a simple on/off switch that can be operated by IR?
