Folks,

I wanted to post this in case anyone else has the same issue I have had. I have an old Airboard IR keyboard that I used with my old Windows ME HTPC. I recently rebuilt it and went to Vista. Once I did that about 20% of the keys on the keyboard gave strange results when pressed. For example the "P" which is "Previous Chapter" in PowerDVD, gave an =.

I found this handy free utility that allowed me to retrofit standard scan code mappings back onto this keyboard.

It is called Key Tweak, and you can download it here

It worked perfectly for me and has allowed me to avoid having to buy a new keyboard and a new remote saving me hundreds of dollars.

Cheers,

Bernd

Thanks for posting. Sometimes people don't take the time to even post back when a recommended solution works for them. It's nice to get feed back so we can learn from each other. That's why were here.
