I still need some reference info from it (like how to make a Space Bar Command) time to time. Hope it is back SOON.
The iRule site hasn't been updated to 2.0 and only Apple knows the exact time it will be approved.

And just yesterday I popped for a builder license and ordered a Global Cache thingy.
iRule has their own forum (irulecommunity.com) but hardly anyone goes there and there's no information about what happened with the big master thread here. Moderators could've been more considerate and post something. My guess is that it was deleted because my post count went back to 1 (this post) because all my other posts were in that thread.

So, I need to decide to either buy another network switch or use the wireless iTACH instead of the wired. With lots of other wireless devices on my 802.11n network, will there be latency issues using the wireless version enough to slow down my iRule pages?

Irule is parsing, organizing and cleaning up the ridiculous thread that's MIA. They are using government supercomputers buried inside a mountain at Los Alamos due to the complexity of the task. New Mexico's consumption of electricity has peaked as a result and we are having brownouts here in Albuquerque. Has anyone contacted an Admin yet? It would be really nice to find out what is going on. There was so much knowledge in that tread.

AFAIK, users cannot delete threads, only moderators.
So the AVS moderator for this forum should speak up here. If this is an attempt to re-organize the thread, that's great. Just please communicate with us users. Many of us have a lot of time and effort invested in IRULE and want to see it succeed.

I am really started to get more than a little irritated by the total lack of communication from the developers of iRule. First, there's no decent thread/ forum, second there's no decent and recent info on what V2 will offer, and now this...
I love that my post was the last one in the "master thread", hope I'll get some help here then...
Could someone explain to me why my ipad using irule can't send wake-on-lan magic packets? My android phone and other computers can send them perfectly fine (monitored the packets but also booted my computer with them). From my understanding the packet is supposed to be sent while connecting to gateways, but it's not, what am I doing wrong?

edit: enabled WoL on one of my existing network gateways instead of creating a new WoL-specific one and it worked... isn't even the correct port (7 nor 9) but hey, at least it works
