Folks,

I'm considering each of these 60" Sammy's for a room that is fairly bright during the day, but typically dim in the evening. The only significant difference I see is 25,000:1 vs 15,000:1 contrast ratio.

Is that 10,000:1 to one going to make that much of a difference that it's worth $550 more?

Any other differences I may not realize/appreciate between these two series?

Those are useless 'specs'; it's entirely possible both have identical actual contrast ratios or that the cheaper model actually has a better contrast ratio. Those specs are for marketing purposes only (to get you to buy the more expensive model with the higher 'specs').
