Hi guys,
I realize that DD+ is a lossy codec but I was wondering what the sampling frequency and bit depth are?
I have seen it noted on these forums that Universal DD+ 1.5mbps tracks are 48/24; is this the case regardless of the of the track's bit rate? In other words I was wondering whether the same holds true for the Warner tracks that are typically 640kbps and Paramount tracks that are typically 1.5mbps per second.
I have also noticed that some of the TrueHD tracks are 48/16; in a case such as that would the 48/24 lossy track at 1.5mbps sound better?
