Here is a glass cabinet I am thinking about buying to store all my equipment:

Would it be a good idea to place a projector (Sanyo xp21N) on one of the shelves as well? I don't have the projector or shelves yet but am working on various setups. I'm renting so ceiling mounting will have to wait. Any suggestions?

I can't see why not, unless you've got a CRT, the stand seems to hold few DVD players, so do it, but remember: glass is fragile
