What I want to do is add a button in Media Center that would run a custom macro inside the Media Center interface without having to go into windows to run it.

I could create a macro that would toggle back and forth between the Digital output and Analog audio outputs. Then I'd like a button within Media center to run that macro for me.

....Until MS fixes the Audio (not being able to output digital and Analog sound at the same time)

Is this even possible? Are there any programs that would allow you to 'edit' Media center to add such a function?

Thanks!

You would need to download Windows Media Center SDK from Microsoft to do it completely within Media Center.

It might also be possible to add a button to the interface via registry or an installation script to launch a custom external program.

Some serious assembly required in both cases. Good luck.
