i have a wireless network. The PC and its hard drive show up on my replay guide but i am unable to play the shows. Should I be able to do so?

Yes it's possible but YMMV with Wireless.


Try plugging it in hard wired with a 100Mb Ethernet connection and see if it works. If it does, you know it was the wireless bandwidth!

I'm sure that someone more experience than me will give you a better answer, and help to solve any problems. Yes, you should be able to view archived RTV shows, but no, I don't think you'll be able to view non-RTV material.

you must install videolan in order to play streams. Then you must associate it as the 'streaming' application in the DVArchive config.

You don't say what type of WLAN you have (802.11 a, b, or g).


On their site, Replay recommends "g".
