I have a new Hughes HT LHD receiver on the way that will be connected to my kf50we610 tele which probably won't be arriving for weeks...

Anyhow, should I spend a 100 bucks for a dvi cable and connect the LHD receiver to the tele via the DVI connection and use component for a dvd player? Any known problems or bugs with this?

Or should I reserve my DVI input for dvd player use?

thanks

The least expensive DVI cable you can find ought to work fine. Digital signal can be killed but it's hard to injure them. If you get a picture without constant dropouts and breakups, a more expensive cable won't give you a better picture.

It may be worth $100, but you get a DVI cable with your HTL-HD.
