The 8.3 is much more capable than the 8.1 in the low end. I think the Wharfedale Diamond 8 series has been discountinued for the Diamond 9 series. You can probably get 8.3's or 8.4's with a considerable discount. I own the 8.4 and it has a pretty small footprint--it's not much larger than the 8.3.

Is it worth it to upgrade from the Wharfedale 8.1 to 8.3 or 8.4?
Right now I have Diamond 8.1's as my fronts and was thinking about upgrading them to the 8.3 or 8.4's (more than likely the 8.3's due to space constraints). but was wondering if anybody has used the Wharfedale Line and has the 8.1's and 8.3's in a setup could tell me if the 8.3 is that much of an upgrade over the 8.1's
