I have a pv-2000 it was working fine and then the light went out and it will not start up again.

I've replaced the power supply and still nothing at all.

could it be the hard drive?

thanks

No, the hard drive can not stop the power LED from working. Either power is still not getting to the motherboard or the motherboard is completely dead. If you have access to a voltmeter check for 12 volts between the yellow and either black wire of the hard drive connector. Also check for 5 volts between the red and either black wire. If you do not get these voltages you still have a power problem. Feel free to email me if you need more help.
